We designed the Alpine project to bring warmth and sophistication to a home deeply connected to its natural surroundings. Just five minutes from the Alpine Meadows ski resort, this mountain retreat is surrounded by trees and features an expansive deck with breathtaking views. Our approach focused on creating a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that blends natural textures with a modern, refined aesthetic. The living and dining areas were reimagined to enhance comfort and functionality. In the living room, we introduced a palette of natural tones with vivid wood finishes and warm accents, complemented by a brown leather sectional that serves as the centerpiece. The existing carpet was replaced with hickory wood flooring, bringing warmth and durability to the space. Green and blue hues in the furniture and decor further connect the interior to its serene outdoor setting. The dining room features a modern 10-seat wood dining table, thoughtfully designed to mirror the living room’s aesthetic, with green accent chairs adding a fresh contrast. Carefully placed natural elements and decor pieces help merge the indoors with the breathtaking landscape outside. For the bedrooms, we prioritized tranquility and comfort, embracing a neutral color palette inspired by the surrounding nature. Subtle pops of color in the decor add personality without overwhelming the space, ensuring a soft and inviting ambiance. Designed as a peaceful retreat, each bedroom offers a warm and cozy environment, perfect for relaxation after a day in the mountains.
